Rotoryball Uk was set up in May 2007 by Jack Sheppard with the aim of introducing Taiji Bailong Ball to as many people as possible.
Jack is now a member of the Taiji Bailong Ball Association which was formed in 2005 and has just qualified as a Certified TBBA Trainer.
Whilst on a culture trip to China (organised by SCIC Beijing) and doing a workshop in the Temple of Heaven Park, he and other members of Chat Ying Kuen Kung Fu club he went with were shown all aspects of Taiji Bailong Ball. This included all the basics and some of the more advanced routines.
The whole basis of Taiji Bailong Ball is to be graceful and flowing in movement. Like Tai Chi, it harnesses circular and rotational body movement.

History. In 1991 Taiji Bailong Ball was developed by Prof. Bai Rong of Shanxi University physical training dept, a boxing trainer with a background in Tai Chi. He developed the exercises and equipment to aid people of all ages and of all levels of fitness. First and foremost he wanted it to be fun so whilst you are enjoying yourself you are exercising.
It is exercising without doing exercises. It is suitable for all age groups and the wonderful thing is age is no barrier. All the basic exercises can be performed either alone or in a group, either indoors or out. As long as you have enough room to swing your arms you can practice Taiji Bailong Ball.
Why not make Taiji Bailong Ball part of your Tai Chi exercise class or just social training.
There will be ample opportunities for instructors / beginners to be given a demonstration of Taiji Bailong Ball basics, just email for information. Taiji Bailong Ball has been found to be a hit
when done on the beach as an additional use of the Volley ball net. Next time you book a badminton court why not give Taiji Bailong Ball a try, you might be surprised (be prepared to have to
explain to your fellow court users what it is you are doing) as more than likely they will not have seen it.
